Erika and Monika Simmons are twins who design colorful and unique crochet clothing for women. Both first learned to crochet in grade 4. After graduating from child development and sociology programs in college, they, because of their love for creativity, were working as hair braiders, print models, taught fitness classes and also were employed as dancers for music videos. Apparently all these jobs didn't increase the amount of money earned, so Erika and Monika revived their crocheting skills during a tight Christmas season to create inexpensive gifts for family. These garments are the lovely results coming out of a need. And there's plenty more beautiful crocheted creations to see, and purchase, from the Simmons twins. |
