Looking Ahead to Spring 2014

I viewed some videos showing collections for spring 2014 presented at  Fashion Week in New York, Milan, Paris and London.  I'd say overall, the design influences are the 60's and the 70's with a twist.  I don't have a problem with that at all.

You know when you see something that just gets your attention, causes you to think "Wow!"?  These dresses did that for me. They're so unusual and lovely and feminine.  I'm not sure if I see 60's and 70's influence portrayed in these dresses though; correction - I do see a bit of these decades' influences.   I also see dresses that are trail blazers and will influence future designers.

Can't Go Through Winter Without a Hat

Wearing hats for the winter season is an easy way to update your wardrobe, whether inside or outdoors.   The variety is wonderful, there's got to be a style for even the fussiest among us.  Top fashion designers pair knit hats and fedoras with dresses and pant ensembles. Hats aren't just for outdoors anymore.  With so many styles from knit caps to  fur hats, everyone should be wearing a hat for the winter 2012-13 season.

Celebrating My New Boots

I was fortunate to receive a pair of boots that I was eyeing for some time sooner than I expected to get it.  I wasn't expecting to get it for two months.  It's looks close enough to the grey ugg boots I posted in my blog titled "Comfortable Style" in  August.  The boots reach just below the knee, they're grey imitation suede (yay!) and have a flat heel.  I love the color grey for this season.

To celebrate my grey boots, I'm focusing on boots in this blog.
