I've been glancing at a few of the top designers' fall/winter 2014-15 collections. Wow! So much color, so many prints, so many silhouettes, this season is fantastic in terms of variety! I'm inspired. I'm actually excited for this fall and winter in terms of clothes, not weather. Hope to see a lot of women, men and youth expressing who they are in fabric and design.
I don't think teens and 20something year olds know about the patched denim jean fad in the 70s. It was a popular style for many and probably served to lengthen the life of favorite jeans back then. I remember oval shaped patches that were used on my jeans as a child.
Patched denim is back for a time. Now the patches are more creative and give an artistic look to not just jeans, but dresses, skirts, jackets, you name it. It's a fun way to wear and lengthen the life of your favorite denim clothes.
